Top 100 Girl Names in Alabama, 2025

Old-fashioned favorites fill much of the top tier — Elizabeth, Mary, Emma and Harper all hold top-ten places, and Eleanor climbed four spots to tie Ava at eighth. Hazel's 14-place jump into a tie at 13th shows the vintage revival still has momentum.

Ailany made the year's biggest move, up 98 places to 25th. Piper climbed 82 to 60th, and Iris rose 42 into a tie at 71st, a sign that short, less expected picks are gaining as quickly as the classics.

Not everything rose. Autumn fell 63 places, Luna dropped 55 to 91st, and Anna slipped 50 to the same spot. Still, the summit stays steady: Charlotte, Elizabeth and Mary hold their ground while newer favorites climb around them.
